Psycho is a fictional character from the GoBots series. He is a Renegade GoBot introduced in 1984.
GoBots[]
Psycho is a Renegade who turns into a Psychoroid car. He is crazy and unpredictable, his twisted mind can only be controlled by Cy-Kill.[1]
His design is based on the Psychoroid car from Japanese manga series Cobra, which became the anime series Space Adventure Cobra.[2]
Abilities[]
Like most GoBots, Psycho has numerous abilities because of his robotic body. He does not age, can survive in space and is super-humanly strong and tough. He can fly in robot mode and project energy blasts from his hands. His body heals quickly when supplied with energy. He can turn into a car.
Animated series[]
Psycho had a cameo in "The Battle for GoBotron", and a short but memorable scene in "The Fall of Gobotron", where he got to conduct the disassembling of Leader-1. He also appeared on the cover to the VHS release of "Cy-Kill's Shrinking Ray."
Books[]
In the 1984 book "War of the GoBots" Psycho is ordered by Cy-Kill to issue the Renegade retreat. [3]
